Keep yourself hydrated!

Toxic free body is equal to healthy skin. You say what you eat or drink is reflected in your face. Heat and sweat can dehydrated your body. It is very important to keep yourself hydrated by drinking nearly 12 glasses of water per day. Make sure that you avoid carbonated beverages and canned juice which can further harm your body. Green tea, fresh fruit juices, coconut water etc.

Sun protection and the myths

To protect your skin from the harmful UV rays it is important to use a sunscreen. But not many know that it is important to apply the sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure.

For sensitive and oily skin a mineral sunscreen can be used.

It is best to avoid stepping out in the sun from 10.00 bis 04.00 clock which is known for exposure to UV radiation as a peak time.

Also if you are in the sun for long it is necessary to sunscreen every two to three hours again.

Peeling skin

With an increase of dead skin cells accumulate during the summer it is important to exfoliate your skin to remove it. One of the main reasons your skin looks dull during the summer is because of the dead skin. A simple skin care regimen should be a light exfoliation to get a healthy glowing skin. One can at home with some oatmeal and milk or yogurt and gram flour.

De-tanning remedies

If you can not take basic steps to protect your skin from harmful UV rays it usually results in the tannery which further leads to darkening of the skin. Here are some home remedies to get rid of the tan:

Make a paste of a Almond 5 drops of lemon and a teaspoon of milk. Apply it evenly on your face and leave it overnight. Wash with warm water next morning.

You can also just use coconut milk and leave it all night.

For pimple prone skin rub wash on tomato juice all over her face and after ten minutes. Follow a week to get rid of this a few times your tan.

Summer friendly make up tips

Makeup in summers can be easily discovered. All through the heat and sweat. You should avoid greasy foundations and stick to oil free foundation. Powdering your face with a shine free compact powder will help the foundation. When it comes to the eyes make sure you waterproof eyeliner and mascara to prevent any smudging. Go for lipsticks that stay long which saves you from touch ups. Last but not least dab your face with a primer finish to your makeup.
