Top 5 tips to stay cool during your summer workout

They were exercising regularly but now it's summer and hot. Sometimes even dangerously hot and apparently too hot to go work out.

Ease into summer. Treat your body to adapt to partially heat gradually through repeated daily exposure. An increase in the body's circulation and cooling performance called acclimatization usually occurs only four to 14 days.

Dress the part. Minimal amounts of wear clothing to facilitate cooling by evaporation. Remember it's not the sweating cools the body but the evaporation of sweat to the atmosphere. Wear lightweight, light colored clothing in breathable fabrics such as cotton.

Team up. If you can practice with a friend or family member. It is safer and could be more fun.
